Hard Times Quilt

Here is another variation of the triangles....these are made in the exact manner of the last tutorial,layout is just different. Made using 2" squares.

Half Squares Triangle Quilt

Here is one of my favorites! This may be the last tutorial posted for awhile as I am about to go back to school. I wanted to post one more before summer was officially over!

Supplies

For this quilt you will need 30 light 2" squares and 30 dark 2" squares. Place one light and one dark right sides together.

Sew

Sew from corner to corner diagonally. You can draw the line or just "go for it"

Seam allowance

Carefully trim to 1/4 seam allowance.

Last Step

Press the square open,pressing to the darker side. Make 29 more in the same manner. I set mine in 6 rows of 5. Put the dark half all on the same side. Sew together. Quilt and bind.
